MegaFon in the “Kaleidoscope” of information
06 November 2008
“MegaFon-Moscow”, a mobile communications operator, has presented the new “Kaleidoscope” service to subscribers. It is based on the i-Cell solution supplied by Bercut Ltd. The first months of commercial operation revealed wide popularity of the service among subscribers.
– “MegaFon” is the first mobile operator that introduces advanced technologies and services to Moscow citizens. In collaboration with Bercut Ltd., we managed to create an original and useful service that enables subscribers always to keep abreast of events, - Denis Irz, the Director of the Department of New Technologies and Projects of the “MegaFon-Moscow” network, said.

– i-Ñell features a number of competitive advantages, for example, ensuring increased subscriber loyalty. According to our estimations, i-Cell is able to increase the frequency of VAS consumption by 15%-30% per year due to application of the pragmatic idea of “1 click”, – Igor Novikov, the Chief Business Development Officer of Bercut Ltd., noted. – The positive response of subscribers, the rate of subscriber base growth and the high frequency of use, testify to the significant potential of “Kaleidoscope”.

The “Kaleidoscope” service is available to all subscribers of the “MegaFon-Moscow” network, who have the “Kaleidoscope” application installed on their SIM cards. Now, “Kaleidoscope” features three news channels, including information on events around the world, the weather forecast and information on special offers of the mobile operator.
