PURPOSE
Bercut Ltd introduces an integrated solution for telecom operators – the unique seamless convergent solution for implementation of billing and customer services that is built on common data scheme – IN@Voice. The Bercut solution offers the operator the competitive advantage and products bringing profit today and in a long term perspective. IN@Voice comprises all necessary components: required transport systems, access level support systems, service logic execution, rating & charging and a whole family of other subscribers’ services.

Simple and transparent
The operator’s business processes in the emerging markets are simple and easy to understand. Solution scalability and its costs are predictable: CapEx tied to business needs, OpEx – under control. The Bercut solution is linear scalable with inexpensive servers and it optimizes equipment investments thus allowing lower TCO. Today, the IN@Voice solution successfully operates on many emerging markets throughout the world and manages to serve more than 10 MSubs in a single domain.

Business process completeness
IN@Voice allows the operator to focus on business goals and a proposal to a subscriber, but not to spend time choosing and integrating systems. IN@Voice is logically full, it involves everything that is necessary for service implementation: the operator’s resources and general customer bill for service as well. The solution contains pre-integrated payment processing tools, self-service and customer service management tools. There is no need to sacrifice uniqueness of the market proposal: it is ensured by a flexible discount system, self-care personalization and packaged service proposals. Subscribers’ service availability is 99.9%.

Seamless solution
IN@Voice is a comprehensive solution that harmonizes effective tools to achieve the business goals: prepaid, postpaid, online, offline – are the means not systems. IN@Voice is a single seamless solution for all subscriber payment models and telecom standards, and its convergence is based on a common data model and unified rating machine. Prepaid/postpaid are just the way a subscriber pays but not the platforms. Online/offline – rating schemes, not separate rating systems. 2G/3G – types of subscriber’s services being monetized by IN@Voice.

Separation of protocol message description and execution logic. The unique IN-platform EXPERA supports virtually any protocol wth existing ASN description. At present the following protocols are supported: MAP, CAP1-4, INAP CS1-2, WIN, SINAP-5M, 7M, DIAMETER, RADIUS, XML over HTTP and many others via SS7 or SIGTRAN. This list is constantly extended.

Standalone rating server TAR@SCP allows minimizing precious CPU resources and provides almost linear solution scalability.

VAS online rating. IN@Voice solution with IN-platform allows implementing a wide range of intelligent services: SMS, USSD, MMS, GPRS, and other VAS.

Multi-level balances. The IN@Voice solution supports unlimited number of balances.

Rating system allows processing subscriber’ calls in both online and offline mode.

IN@Voice wipes out boundaries between postpaid and prepaid subscribers. A subscriber can easily switch between prepaid and postpaid and vice versa. This gives dramatically new operator advantages.

Fully compliant with cutting edge IT-security rules and requirements.

The IN@Voice solution allows creating rate plans in different currencies and virtual units.

The solution contains flexible environment for discounts development (for call price, data volume, units and reccuring charges).

The solution is convergent by the type of network, rating method and payment method. IN@Voice enables managing subscribers of different communications standards (i.e. GSM-CDMA-PSTN).

The solution includes rigorous KPI and service availability monitoring tools. IN@Voice can be integrated with external monitoring systems via the SNMP protocol.

The IN@Voice performance was benchmarked in Sun World Storage Center, Linlithgow, Scotland, UK. The performance tests, which took place in May, 2007 proved that IN@Voice is able to serve up to 20 MSubs on two SunFire 25K enterprise class servers (Ultra SPARC IV+ 1,8GHz).

The proved system reliability is 99.9%. It provides high level service availability to subscribers.
